correction

Dear everybody, I have not been clear with you, or, er, clear enough. Ahhh, my point is that I did not drive my car into any river. And now looking back, I suppose it behooves me to say also the there was no cat suicide. The cat is fine and delighted to have Jesse back. He even bought her some new food—score! She is sitting right over there on the floor actually, although I should mention that she has changed her lounging style to a warm-weather style.

In other news, I am overwhelmed by delicious tea. My order form Upton came today, and in at a whole nest of samples from all over the place. So far I have had the Formosa (which is what they used to call Taiwan, I learned) Amber Oolong, and right now am drinking Special Grade Japanese Sencha Yamato, which I may have oversteeped. Nevertheless, they are, as I mentioned, overwhelmingly good. Both are interesting to look at as well (as you can see), and smell like stuff that would come out of the ground–amazing stuff. Also, the sencha leaves are great to eat, some of the least bitter leaves I have had.

yeah, but is the car ok, or did it get messed up in the river?

Formosa Amber Oolong: distinctively delicious
Sencha Yamato: more subtly delicious
anonymous comments: bitter and insipid
Mikey Duane commenting anonymously: more subtly bitter and insipid, unrewarding
Mikey's generally nasty tone: also unrewarding
Mikey's ability to get himself to Williamsburg: lacking, hopefully in a latent manner.
